PBT - Progressing Ballet Technique

Founded and developed by Marie Walton-Mahon in Australia, the Progressing Ballet Technique is an innovative program designed for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet.

What are the benefits?

Progressing Ballet Technique gives students a better understanding of how to engage the right muscles in order to dance safely and correctly. Before long you will see huge improvements in alignment, stability, strength, posture, turnout, control and balance. And….it’s fun!

It can be difficult for students to feel what muscles initiate the correct alignment in ballet training. However, as the fit ball is continually mobile under the students’ body it provides a sense of posture and weight-placement whilst feeling each correct muscle groups. Each exercise has been developed with care and guidance. The programs have received supportive and positive feedback from teachers and students worldwide.

Private one-hour PBT classes are available by appointment - contact Sharon to book on 0871924881.
