How long are classes?
All classes on our adult ballet programme last between 1 hour and 1hr 30 mins.

What should I wear to class?
Something you feel comfortable in and that will not restrict your movement. Beginners generally wear gym or yoga-style clothes: loose-fitted pants, leggings or shorts with a t-shirt or leotard. Beginners may dance in socks or in soft ballet shoes. Long hair should be tied back. Advanced dancers usually wear a full ballet outfit including leotard, skirt, pink tights and ballet slippers or pointes.

What should I bring to class?
Appropriate clothing (including layers that can be removed as the body temperature increases) water bottle, sweat towel, soft ballet shoes if you have them. Also, focus and enthusiasm! : )

Where do I sign in for my class?
All drop-in participants must sign in before the start of their class with the teacher.
For participants who have enrolled for the term you will only be required to sign in at the reception before your first class.

Is there a place to leave valuables?
Please take all your belongings with you into the studio. Although we do have male and female changing rooms it is not safe to leave anything unattended in the changing rooms.

Studio etiquette
Photography and filming is not permitted inside our studios
No outdoor shoes are to be worn in the studios. No food or drink, except bottled water, can be taken into the studios. All mobile phones must be switched off during class.
Studio bookings often run back to back. Once your class has finished please exit the space quickly to allow the next group to start on time. If participants would like to stretch after their class please use the stretching zones.

Can I take part if I’m pregnant or injured?
We take every care to ensure the well-being and safety of class participants. If you are pregnant or have an injury or medical condition that may be aggravated by taking class, please seek advice from your GP before attending a class and inform the person teaching the class before participating in the class.

It is not our policy to refund or replace missed classes. Refunds will only be considered for particular circumstances. Refunds are not offered retrospectively. Any missed enrolment classes can sometimes, by prior arrangement only, be replaced by participating in any other class.
